  • Results

Firefly Light Therapy results can be compared using infrared imaging, or thermography that reveals increased blood circulation. A baseline infrared image is taken before Firefly light therapy and used to determine the proper course of treatment. This image is then stored on the computer system. After an initial course of 4-6 treatments, the scan is repeated. Changes in blood circulation are noted and used to assess the efficacy of treatment and determine prognosis.

Above are some examples of pre- and post-treatment infrared scans. Orange to red warmer colors in the pretreatment images indicates inflammation and pain. Patients experiencing numbness and poor circulation before treatment show warmer colors after treatment indicating increased blood circulation.

  • Testimonial

“I had a skin rash on my hands for three months that was not only extremely painful, but I was incapable of using my hands and had lost my job. I had received a couple of different diagnoses and had tried several different treatments without any results. “Someone suggested Firefly therapy and within a week of a few treatments, my hands were finally on the road to recovery. I can’t express enough my gratitude and relief that I received from this therapy.”

Real Stories &

History of the Firefly

A NASA light technology originally developed to aid plant growth experiments in space has proved to reduce the painful side effects resulting from chemotherapy and radiation treatment in bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients. In a two-year clinical trial, cancer patients undergoing bone marrow or stem cell transplants were given a far red/near infrared Light Emitting Diode treatment called High Emissivity Aluminiferous Luminescent Substrate, or HEALS.

Firefly laser therapy is painless and highly effective for pets!

The protocol for each animal is going to be different, and their response to laser therapy is equally unique. Depending on your fur-baby’s specific condition and severity, treatment strategies and time will vary.

Does your pet suffer from a chronic medical condition like arthritis? Has a recent surgery or injury negatively impacted your companion’s lifestyle or quality of life?

Some benefits to laser therapy for your best friend include:

  • Anti-Inflammation - decreases swelling from bruising/injury

  • Pain reduction - blocks pain by decreasing nerve sensitivity

  • Accelerates tissue repair, cell growth, and nerve function - ATP

  • Enhances circulation, healing and reduces scarring

Never believe that animals suffer less than humans. Pain is the same for them that it is for us. Even worse, because they cannot help themselves.
