Photonic Stimulator
Infrared Light Therapy
cti-net.com

Read what Wired Magazine has to say about it.

What it is:
The Photonic Stimulator, approved for pain by the FDA in 1998, emits low-level infrared light that penetrates the skin to stimulate blood flow and circulation, normalizing nerve function.

How it works:
The Photonic Stimulator emits particles of light called photons, similar to a laser. These photons restore the electrical potential of nerves. Once restored, the nerves begin firing normally. Blood circulation returns to the area, bringing oxygen and nutrients and removing waste. As the photons strike damaged tissue, including skin, muscle and bone, they create a cellular response that reduces pain and assists the healing process.

Recommended Treatment Protocol:
Between 4 and 10 treatments, 3 to 5 days apart, depending upon symptoms. Ask us what schedule might be best for you. Can be used in conjunction with thermography to optimize treatment location and duration.

How much it costs:
Single head treatment: $100
Double head treatment: $130
10% prepaid series discount is available.

How long it takes:
From 10 minutes on up (typically 30-60 minutes depending on issue).

Indications for Use:
Soft tissue wounds and injuries; chronic pain, areas of immobility and acute trauma.

Hypo-nerve environments like neuropathy -- Photonic Stimulator will increase nerve function and circulation.

Hyper-nerve environments like inflammation, pain, fibromyalgia and arthritis -- Photonic Stimulator will calm down the nerves and decrease the inflammation.

Pathogens such as viruses and bacteria; thyroid dysfunction; lyme disease.

Acne

Contraindications i.e. Do Not Use:
On a pregnant uterus or if you have a pacemaker.
Over the eyes; do not look directly at the light beam.
Late in the evening if you are a light sleeper.

Frequently Asked Questions:

How often can I use the Photonic Stimulator?
The Photonic Stimulator can be used every several days, depending on symptoms; the least amount of treatment necessary is best as over-stimulation can be counter-productive. Overuse may evoke an unnecessary healing crisis. Ask us what is best for your situation.

If it's a laser, does it burn?
The Photonic Stimulator only emits pure light that is diffused so there is no risk of burn or electrical shock.

Set Up and Usage:
Do: Be sure lamp intensity is on low
Don't: Block the fan or look directly at the light beam
Turn switch on in back of base unit.
Be sure lamp intensity is on lowest setting.
Be sure IR intensity is on high, unless you are older, sick or young; if so, turn it down.
Hold the Photonic Stimulator hand-held infrared light transmitter (the wand) just above the skin's surface where the treatment is needed.

General Use Protocol:
Begin with 1 to 2 minutes slowly moving the wand across the occipital ridge at base of skull.
Slowly move wand up and down both sides of the spinal column for 2 to 3 minutes.
Hold wand at tops and bottoms of fingertips, one at a time for 10 seconds each.
Do the same with toes.

This protocol enervates both ends of all the nerves (from the spine to the ends of fingers and toes)

Your practitioner will inform you of the best protocol for your current situation.
